Designed specifically from the geometry of Puerto Rico's Yunque Mountain this table speaks to the experience of being Puerto Rican without "seeming" Puerto Rican.

The table top
sits at the cloud line
The arch of the legs correlates
to the arch of the two highest
peaks of El Yunque
The table was designed to inspire curiosity about the form and open conversation about how the object came to be the way it is.
When people ask about my table I get to tell them about a beautiful island that inspired its creation - not unlike when I answer the question of where I'm from.
This isn't what one might picture when they think of a Puerto Rican table, but that is everything and all that it is.
